The plants, animals and fungi we have encountered over our many adventures are one of the most special aspects of our explorations and we always seek to learn more about what we have seen.

We often don’t think to look at what is under our feet, let alone to wonder how it came to be the way it is. But every rock has a story to tell and we want to hear and understand those stories.

We respect the First Nations peoples on whose land and waterways we explore. Their stories are often deeply integrated with the landforms and the science of an area.
