It is reputed to be “the finest walk in the world” - following valleys carved by glaciers, passing through ancient rainforests and past cascading waterfalls to the exceptional grandeur of Milford Sound in Fiordland, the South Island of New Zealand. Tentative plans have the Society making the four day walk in the autumn of 2026.
