Bermagui, October 2020
The chance for a quick escape was too tempting for Society members Timmy, Maddy, Sal, Dom, Dan, Isaac, Bella and Billie in the spring of 2020. The arrival and impact of Covid 19 had been a shock, but good old Bermagui was waiting for us as always.
Above all, this was an opportunity to relax a little and to recharge, and Dan was still recovering slightly from having put a chainsaw through his left foot, but that did not mean that there were no adventures to be had. We found ourselves at Beares Beach one dramatic day when grey skies and drizzle gave way to strong rain and storms with a wild sea sending crashing waves ashore. Luckily we discovered a splendid sea cave in which we could take shelter.
Rock explorations along the Bermagui coastline - always fun.
The amazing sea cave at Beares Beach where we sheltered from a storm. the sea was really whipping up creating a dramatic scene.
Brave Isaac facing down the full force of the Pacific crashing against the Bermagui rocks.
We were due for a little down time and took full advantage at our rental home which happily included locally outdoors couches for much lazing and reading.
The hardiest of explorers needs their rest! Billie clearly a little weary and taking full advantage of cousin Bella’s presence.
Sparkling Wallaga Lake - on a visit to Muz’s cabin.
Just hanging out at the Wallaga Lake Ingenia Caravan Park.
